Thank you for your interest in attending an Admission event! Please note that the following events are geared towards prospective students who are interested in our Master of Science degree program. Throughout the year, the GSLIS Admission Office holds information sessions on both campuses. In the fall, we travel to various graduate fairs to meet with prospective students. Please check the second chart on this page for our travel schedule.
Information sessions are held monthly from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. followed by an optional tour. The session includes an overview of the library and information science field, breakout sessions with faculty, as well as a question and answer session with a panel of current students and alumni. Admission representatives will be available throughout the event to answer questions. To see more details or to register for an information session, please click on the location of the event. Information session attendees will receive a $65 application fee waiver. The waiver is only valid for applications for future terms - it cannot be used toward applications already submitted.
