Undergraduate Program

Simmons's innovative undergraduate college for women offers more than 40 majors and programs. In addition to established majors, the OPEN Program (Option for Personalize Educational Needs) allows students to custom design majors. Students also may choose from more than a dozen integrated undergraduate/graduate programs and accelerated degree.

College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Studies

Simmons's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) offers cutting-edge graduate programs in English, History, and Gender/Cultural Studies and dual-degree programs in History/Archives Management and English/Children's Literature with the Graduate School of Library and Information Science and Gender/Cultural Studies/Communications Management with the School of Management.

Graduate School of Library and Information Science

The Graduate School of Library and Information Science's (GSLIS) nationally accredited Master of Science in Library and Information Science program offers a concentration in Archives Management and a School Library Teacher Program as well as dual degrees, certificate programs, continuing education, a robust satellite program at Mount Holyoke College, and a highly selective doctoral program. In a recent reorganization at Simmons, the scope at GSLIS has expanded to include the undergraduate programs in Computer Science as well as the graduate programs in Children's Literature. Through those programs GSLIS offers a Master of Arts in Children's Literature and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A) in Writing for Children and undergraduate majors in computer science, information technology, health informatics, and web design and development.

School of Nursing and Health Sciences

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) offers nationally accredited undergraduate and graduate programs in health professions education, nursing, nutrition and wellness, and physical therapy, including dual degree options, online programs, and advanced graduate certificates. Located in Boston's renowned Longwood Medical Area, the SNHS provides rigorous academic preparation and clinical experience, with exceptional training and research opportunities.

Our MBA program educates women to be leaders in their chosen business endeavors while our undergraduate business degree creates the opportunity for work place success right out of college. Our Health Care MBA and M.S. in Management programs educate women and men in a diverse group of management specialties. Our faculty is both academically excellent and experienced in the real world application of their specialties. We generate cutting edge research and thought leadership in gender and diversity dynamics in organizations. We are the leaders in research and education about women as employees, as entrepreneurs, consumers and investors. School of Social Work

Simmons's School of Social Work (SSW) provides a rigorous clinical social work education for men and women, a nationally accredited master of social work (M.S.W.) program and Ph.D. in Social Work designed for advanced clinical scholars. The SSW initiatives include the Urban Leadership Program, Spanish language courses for social workers, international study, and schedules that accommodate working professionals.
