Get help from a Simmons Reference Librarian now! Visit, chat, email or call us to get help with your research. You can reach us whenever and however it's most convenient for you.

  • Chat — Chat is offline. Contact us via email using the link below.
  • Text Message — Send a text message to us at 617.528.9521. We will respond to your text as soon as possible during the reference desk's regular hours of operation. Standard text messaging rates apply. Appropriate text messages include short answer and directional questions. If you require detailed assistance. such as project planning or in-depth research, please contact us via another method listed on this page so we can provide the best possible service.
  • Email — Send your reference questions to reference@simmons.edu and we will get back to you as soon as we can (generally within one day).
  • Phone — Call us at 617.521.2784 to speak with a librarian when the desk is open or leave us a message any time.
  • In Person — Visit the reference desk, located on the main floor of the Library, for research assistance. View Library hours and find directions to campus. Please call 617.521.2784 for information on the Reference Desk's hours.
  • Meet with a Librarian — Request a research appointment for in-depth help with research and library resources.
