Simmons College Names New Vp For Enrollment Management, John F. Dolan

BOSTON (July 10, 2014) — Simmons College announced today the appointment of John F. Dolan, Ed.D., an experienced higher education enrollment professional, as its new Vice President for Enrollment Management.

"John's expertise will assist Simmons College as we position ourselves for future success and adjust to the many changing aspects of enrollment management in higher education," said Simmons College President Helen Drinan.

The new Vice President for Enrollment Management is responsible for undergraduate admission, graduate admission, and student financial services.

Dolan was previously Vice President for enrollment management at Le Moyne College in New York, where he led the work to acquire the largest class in the college's history, while also improving the academic profile of the class. Prior to his position at Le Moyne College, Dolan was senior associate vice president for university advancement for the College of Engineering at Drexel University; vice president for enrollment management at LaSalle University; president and CEO of The Catholic Foundation in Denver; vice chancellor for enrollment management at the University of Denver; and senior enrollment management consultant for Noel-Levitz.

Dolan's expertise and thought leadership has been highlighted in numerous media outlets including the BBC, National Public Radio, Good Morning America, CNN, The Washington Post, Fox News, The Boston Globe, and the Christian Science Monitor.

He earned a B.A. in education from Benedictine College; a MA in education from the University of Denver; and an Ed.D. in education from Drexel University.
