We live in a changing world. Economies of the future will demand workers trained and educated with a direct understanding of international and cross-cultural issues. For social workers, exposure, experience, knowledge and understanding of diverse environments, societies, and cultures opens new doors and prepares one to help communities affected by the rapid increase of globalization, including immigrant, refugee, and international migrant populations.

The Simmons College Study Abroad office has a wide variety of options open to students wishing to broaden their horizons, including intensive foreign language courses and various short courses offered by the Colleges of the Fenway.
