Admitted Student Checklist
We are thrilled that you've decided to attend Simmons. The college application process is rigorous, and we congratulate you on making the important decision on where to attend school. You may be left wondering what comes next. We've compiled an admitted student checklist that takes you step-by-step through the process of enrolling at Simmons, from depositing to the first day of classes. Of course, if you're still left with questions don't hesitate to call the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 800-345-8468 or email us at ugadm@simmons.edu. Orientation

Advising & Registration
All students meet with their advisor and register for classes during Orientation. Your advisor will not necessarily be a professor within your major, but he or she is trained to advise first year students across departments. You will personally select an advisor within your major during your sophomore year.
You can get a head start on the registration process by browsing our online course catalog connection.simmons.edu. Use the same username and password that your were given for your Simmons email account to log in. Your advisor will help you choose appropriate classes that fulfill the required courses for a Simmons degree and your intended major.
Living on Campus
Simmons has a beautiful gated residence campus with nine halls, a variety of rooming options, theme communities, and special interest floors. Many activities and events occur on the residential campus as well. Visit the Campus Life site to learn about your housing options and see photographs of Simmons halls.
Your Simmons ID
Accepted students receive ID numbers in their acceptance letter or can request it from the admission office. Students receive IDs at Fall Orientation, or soon after.
You can now submit your photo for your Simmons Student ID online. When you submit your photo online, your ID will be ready for pick up at the Campus Card Office at the start of the semester.
Accessing your Simmons Email
Once you submit a deposit you will be sent a packet of information about enrolling at Simmons. Within this packet will be information about accessing your Simmons email account. It is important to regularly check this account before coming to Simmons, as information about orientation and registration will be sent here. If you do not have your login information please call the Help Desk (617-521-2222) to request it. You must have your Simmons ID number available when you call.
