Since a very early age, Blau found herself surrounded by an artistic family and soon developed a passion for music. By the time she was 12 years old, she was taking organ, violin, and clarinet lessons, as well as performing in several school plays and talent shows. Blau enthralled local audiences with her talent and soon caught the attention of respected vocal instructor Gourgen Mkrtytchian.

Blau went on to perform in several concerts at the Academia de Musica Moderna (Modern Music Academy) and the Jazz Café in Costa Rica, as well as to perform in some of Costa Rica's most important musical plays.

After graduating from high school, Blau decided to move to Boston in to pursue her studies at Simmons College, where she majors in nutrition and dietetics. Determined to continue developing her passion for music away from home, she went to the closest Wal-Mart to buy her first acoustic guitar and taught herself how to play. Seeking to convey her heart and mind through music, Blau found a way to merge her thoughts and feelings with the chords of her guitar, and quickly became immersed in the world of songwriting.

Today, Blau a is considered by Costa Rican newspaper "La Nacion" as to be one of the most successful Costa Rican artists on the web, and is currently preparing for the release of her first album, "Nada Que No Pueda."
