The Winsor School Athletic Fields/Tennis Courts
Simmons Soccer, Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams all use The Winsor School athletic fields, and the Tennis team uses The Winsor School courts for practice and competition. Conveniently located adjacent to the Holmes Sports Center, these facilities provide a home for many Simmons athletes, as well as the students, faculty, family and friends who come to cheer them on.
The two grass fields were renovated in Summer 2008. They were resurfaced and laid with field turf in time for fall preseason.
WINSOR FIELD RULES
These fields are for the sole use of Winsor School Students, Faculty, Staff, and Invited Guests. In order to protect these fields, the following are prohibited:
• Sports drinks, soda, alcohol, coffee or any beverage other than water.
• Gum, food, sunflower seeds or peanuts.
• Tobacco products of any kind.
• Dogs and other pets or animals.
• Metal cleats or spiked footwear, golfing, javelins and barbeque grills.
• Sharp objects such as corner flags or other objects that would penetrate the
artificial surface.
• Unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, scooters or marking of additional lines.
