L.E.A.P.
The Lifelong Exercise and Activities Program (LEAP) was founded in 1988 and designed to provide non-credit instructional classes, workshops, field trips and recreational activities to the Simmons and Colleges of the Fenway community. The program mission is to provide the opportunities and education needed for students, faculty, staff and alumnae to develop lifestyles of physical fitness and health.
Aquatic Programs
Programs are offered by the Simmons College Athletics Department and the Holmes Sport Center in Children's Swim Lessons and Master's Swimming. For further information please see the contact information regarding each program.
Swim, Sports & Activity Camp
A fun way for your daughter or son (recommended ages 5-13) to spend vacation. Offered February vacation, April vacation and 4 weeks during Summer vacation! Participants receive instruction in swimming, basketball, soccer, tennis and more!
Summer Basketball School
Receive individual instruction in offensive and defensive skills from Collegiate coaches and players! July 13-16, 2009.
Summer Rowing Clinic
The 2009 Summer Rowing Clinic will be held August 17-20. Improve your rowing technique, strength and flexibility. Row on the historic Charles River!
Summer Swimming Camp
This technique-oriented day camp will focus on learning and fine-tuning stroke mechanics, as well as race preparation in all four strokes. Goal-setting, nutrition, and psychology will be covered. August 10-14, 2009.
