Erin Rowe is entering her fifth season as Head Diving Coach at Simmons College. Over the past four
seasons Coach Rowe has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the diving program, and was instrumental in
obtaining state-of-the-art training equipment, including a trampoline and dry board station with overhead
spotting rigs.
Coach Rowe was a four-year varsity athlete at Hartwick College where she trained under Coach Gary Zurn and
held the school six-dive 1-meter record for several years. Upon graduating from Hartwick, Rowe moved to New
Haven, CT where she assisted Yale University Coach Ryan Moehnke with his U.S. Diving age group team. Her
training as an athlete and as a coach has inspired her to find new and creative ways to train and motivate
her athletes.
Coach Rowe has had several divers qualify and compete at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and
Diving Championships on both 1 and 3 meter. She is looking forward to even more success in the future
especially with the new training equipment.
Coach Rowe received a B.A. in Psychology from Hartwick College in 2003, and is currently working on a M.S.
in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University. Rowe is employed full-time as a project manager with
the Institute on Urban Health Research at Northeastern University.
