Welcome to Health Education and Wellness Programs at Simmons! As part of the Division of Student Life, the mission of the Health Education and Wellness Programs is to create a health-conscious culture within the Simmons community through awareness events, utilization of digital and social media, peer education groups, health campaigns, and residence life programming. We specialize in preventative and educational outreach initiatives to promote overall wellbeing, and academic success of Simmons students. This work is accomplished through active collaboration with students, faculty, and staff from across the campus including members of the Well @ Simmons consortium. Health education topics include stress management, fitness, healthy eating, eating disorders and disordered eating, drug and alcohol use, self-esteem, safe sex, healthy relationships and the prevention of relationship violence.
