For Employers

Recruiting

The Simmons Career Education Center (CEC) provides several different recruiting options to allow you to connect with Simmons students and alums. Please read more about each of these options below.

Note: The CEC works with undergraduate Management students but does not work with graduate students in the School of Management. If you are seeking to recruit graduate students in the MBA program, MCM (Master's in Communications Management) program, and MHA (Master of Health Administration) program, you should contact the SOM Career Services office.

CareerLink Online Job Board

If you have current openings, join thousands of other local, regional, and national employers and create your own Simmons CareerLink account to post your jobs and internships or work with the CEC staff to post your listings. The system, which also allows resume search and candidate applications to be sent directly to your e-mail, is password accessible to the entire Simmons community of students and alums. If you are a Simmons alum or parent you can identify yourself as such when posting your openings in CareerLink and have your job or internship identified to job seekers under the "Simmons Hiring Simmons" feature. To learn more and get started, visit the employer CareerLink page.

Career Fairs

During the academic year we produce a full calendar of on- and off-campus career fairs, many of which are targeted to match specific industries and student populations, while others serve a broader range of organizations and student interests. Learn more about upcoming career fairs at the Career Events & Programs  page. You can also visit an archive of Past Events to learn more about selected recent CEC career fairs.

Employer Information Tables

If you're looking to generate awareness for your organization you can book a table in our Fens Dining Area lobby or the Main College Building lobby to get your message out to our student population. Info Tables are typically scheduled during the peak traffic period of the mid-day lunch hours - our students are always hungry for knowledge!

Employer Information Sessions

For more established brands or organizations seeking to provide an in-depth presentation of a program or specific career opportunities at your organization, you can book the Career Resource Center or another room on campus to speak to a group of students and meet and greet them afterward.

On-Campus Interviewing

If you are seeking to meet with students one-on-one or in a group interview setting you can book a dedicated interviewing space in the CEC or elsewhere on campus. We can also work with you to set up a schedule of designated time blocks and manage student resume submissions and sign-ups.

Sponsorship

For those organizations wishing to gain additional exposure and access to Simmons students the CEC also offers paid sponsorship opportunities, whether for individual events or ongoing programs. Sponsorship interest should be discussed with Doug Eisenhart, CEC Associate Director, Employer Relations.

We are also happy to work with you to meet your custom recruitment needs. Let us know how we can help you. Please contact Doug Eisenhart, CEC Associate Director, Employer Relations.

Post Jobs & Internships

Employers seeking to hire Simmons students and alumnae/i can use two different online job boards for recruitment purposes. The two job boards are CareerLink, for off-campus opportunities, and CA$H, for on-campus and work-study positions. Employers can use these job boards to advertise full-time, part-time, internship, and volunteer opportunities.
