Employer Information Table: IPC Hospitalists

Founded by hospitalist physicians in 1995, IPC has grown to become one of the nation's leading private practice groups focused on hospital medicine and post-acute care services. IPC's clinicians, support staff, operations, and technology are all focused on driving the health care delivery system towards better, more efficient and high quality inpatient care. In New England, IPC manages practices in thirteen hospitals, including the majority of the Steward facilities, as well as over 75 post-acute nursing facilities, from the Berkshires to Cape Cod and Connecticut. IPC currently has opportunities for physician extenders in Massachusetts. Idealist.org Graduate School Fair

If you're thinking of going to grad school in the next year or two, this fair is for you. The fair is for undergrads, professionals, and anyone thinking of applying to graduate school to further their social impact career. At the fair you will meet representatives from 180 local, national, and international universities offering graduate degrees in education, international affairs, nonprofit management, public health, and social work, among many others. Warburg Panel - A World in Crisis: Diplomacy Today and Careers in Foreign Service

Join Warburg Professor of International Relations Ambassador (ret.) William M. Bellamy as he moderates a panel of three former ambassadors on why diplomacy is critical in today's world. The panel will be followed by a discussion on careers in foreign service and networking with representatives from the US Dept. of State. Open to the entire Simmons College community and students from Boston University, Colleges of the Fenway, and Tufts University Fletcher School of Diplomacy. Refreshments served. Northeastern Fall Career Fair

Fidelity Investments: Women in Technology Information Session & FCAT Tour

Alumnae Panel: Careers in Teaching

The Education Department invites you to hear from past Simmons students who are currently teaching. Some graduated just last year and others as far back as 2002. All are passionate about their careers as teachers and their Simmons experience as undergraduate Dunn Scholars in the accelerated 4+1 degree in education. Come and meet them! They can't wait to come back to campus and to share with you. (At least come and listen while you enjoy some pizza. You have to eat, right?) Information about the 5-year BA plus graduate degree programs in SPED, Secondary Education, Elementary, or English as a Second Language will be available.

Harvard Intercollegiate Business Convention

Every fall, Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business hosts the globally recognized Intercollegiate Business Convention (IBC), a day of targeted programming for aspiring female business leaders. Each year, over 1200 delegates from campuses worldwide attend the diverse panels, workshops and presentations that feature over 100 professionals across industries. Attendees also hear from three inspiring keynote speakers and have access to exclusive career fairs and networking sessions. Registration for IBC 2014 is now open at attend.com/IBC.

 


Communications & Marketing Careers Information Exchange

The Communications & Marketing Careers Information Exchange is a career exploration and networking event for students and professionals in advertising, broadcasting, journalism, PR, social media, Internet and web marketing, and more. Round table discussions, 20 min. each, provide students with the opportunity to learn first-hand about different types of careers and employers in the communications and marketing fields. Dress: business casual or business formal. Open to students from the six colleges in the College Career Centers of Boston: BC, BU, Emerson, Emmanuel, Simmons, and Suffolk.
