Resume Workshops for First Year Students in Simmons 101

What It Is
The Resume Workshop will help you either create your first resume or improve the one you have. If you are looking for a job, internship, leadership position, summer job, or any volunteer position in the coming months, having a resume will be essential.
In this workshop, a Simmons career coach will help you incorporate your life and work experiences into a meaningful first resume. You do not need to bring a resume to this workshop, but a list of your work/life experiences can be helpful.
Participation in a Resume Workshop is mandatory for students in Simmons 101.

How to Sign Up
You can only sign up for a Resume Workshop during the registration period, Thursday 9/6/12 through Friday, 9/21/12 at the Career Education Center (CEC). The CEC is open from 8:30 to 4:30 on Monday and Friday, and until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The Workshops begin on 9/25. Be sure to sign-up early to get the best time for your schedule!
To reserve your space, please visit the Career Education Center, located on the first floor of the Management and Academic Building, M107 - M112. The Resume Workshops will be held in M106, Career Resource Center, next door to the CEC.
