By speaking with Simmons alumnae/i you can learn about career choices, career paths, get an inside look at the current job market and your field, contact individuals for informational interviews, and much more.

Simmons Hiring Simmons
Simmons' online job board, CareerLink, carries hundreds of internship and job opportunities, with typically 40-50 new postings per week. These are from employers specifically seeking to hire Simmons students and alums, many of whom are recruiting experienced candidates for full-time positions. Within CareerLink, Simmons alumnae/i (and parents) can post openings under the "Simmons Hiring Simmons" feature, so that you know a job is coming from within the Simmons community. When you go into "Job Search" on CareerLink, select "Job Posted by Simmons Alum or Parent?" and select "Yes" to see a list of these postings.
Keep an eye on the Career Events calendar. You will find Simmons alumnae/i recruiting at career fairs, speaking on career panels, and appearing at other types of career-related programs that could be open to you as a Simmons student or alum.
Simmons LinkedIn Group
Prefer networking virtually? Then check out the Simmons College group on LinkedIn. All you need is a Simmons affiliation and your own LinkedIn profile. Apply to the administrator to join this group of over 2,200 Simmons alums, faculty, staff, and affiliates. Once admitted, stay up to date with member posts, discussion groups, job opportunities, and just use it for networking.
Alumnet is the Simmons alumnae/i website. It is your gateway to the Simmons alumnae/i community and is full of rich information and resources -- and you can visit it at any time!
Simmons seniors and alumnae/i of all schools and programs are eligible to register for Alumnet and the online alumnae/i directory. To register, visit My Alumnet, then choose "Register" and use your Simmons ID to continue. For any questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-831-4284.
Once registered on Alumnet you will receive important information via the monthly Simmons E-News e-mail newsletter including event information and other career and non-career related benefits.
You can also link to the Simmons College Alumnae/i social networking sites such as the Simmons Alumnae/i group on Facebook and the Simmons LinkedIn group mentioned above.
You will also have access to the Simmons Alumnet Directory to search for alums that can provide career advice and guidance, to find and network with alums that live and work in an area of interest to you, etc. As stated above, registration is required.
You can also visit the Alumnet events calendar to stay up to date on alumnae/i events in your area. The Simmons alumnae/i community is widespread, engaged, and active, and there is always something going on. It pays to stay connected!

Alumnae/i Groups by School
Finally, you should be aware of the alumnae/i networking groups and other alumnae/i activities within your specific school or program, where the affiliations and bonds are often at their strongest. Many of the graduate schools maintain their own listservs and web pages of career opportunities, events, and other information to keep their alums up to date. Contact your school's administration to learn more.

In New England, IPC manages practices in thirteen hospitals, including the majority of the Steward facilities, as well as over 75 post-acute nursing facilities, from the Berkshires to Cape Cod and Connecticut.
