The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art

Sunday, June 17, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Children's Literature Association, Simmons College and The Carle have arranged a wonderful day at the renowned Eric Carle Museum of Picture Art.  We will travel by bus and arrive at The Carle in time for a box lunch in the Museum's Café.  Tour the galleries with Chief Curator, Nick Clark, see original art by Eric Carle and Lucy Cousins, visit the Art Studio, and view Eric Carle's newest DVD, "Picture Writer:  The Art of the Picture Book."  For more information about The Carle, visit www.carlemuseum.org.  All ChLA visitors will receive a 10% discount in the Museum Shop.

10:00 a.m.  Bus leaves from Simmons College
12:00  Lunch
12:30 - 1:45 p.m.  Tour
1:45- 3:00 p.m.  Browse the Museum Shop, Galleries, Art Studio, and Reading Library.
3:00 p.m.   Depart Museum to return to Simmons College
