All-College Convocation - 10:00 a.m.

Please join us to celebrate the opening of the 2012-13 academic year.

The featured speaker is Barbara E. Walvoord, Interim Director, Center for Excellence in Teaching. The College will honor and celebrate those who earned tenure, promotion, and those faculty who received PDIAC grants.

The event will be held in a tent on the academic quad (rain or shine). A reception will be held in Common Grounds Cafe immediately following the ceremony.

Undergraduate Honors Convocation - 2:00 p.m.

This event is a long-standing College tradition celebrating the arrival of the new academic year.

Simmons will honor the academic achievements of the undergraduate students and welcome the Class of 2016. The featured speaker will be Mark Bellamy, Warburg Professor of International Relations.

The event will be held in a tent on the academic quad (rain or shine). After the ceremony, a reception will be held in Common Grounds.
