Job Description:
Mullen's Strategic Analytics group applies analytic rigor, data-driven and fact-based reasoning to guide the development and execution of advertising and marketing strategies for clients. Specifically, we adopt statistical
modeling methodologies, performance insight techniques, and optimization to maximize the ROI of marketing and advertising across offline and digital channels. We seek entrepreneurial individuals with a background in
business and marketing performance analysis and a passion for translating data into actionable insight.
The Strategic Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of data-driven marketing insight and optimization across several client engagements. This role will cover consumer insights, brand equity analytics,
market/audience segmentation, media mix modeling and optimization, online display advertising, search marketing, social media, and site analytics.
Duties Include:
Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Standardize the design and automation of periodic reports (dashboards)
focusing on the metrics and diagnostic levers critical to the business goals
of clients
- Glean actionable insights from reports to support in-market adjustments to
campaigns
- Analyze scenarios to assess the before/after impacts of target market
selection, media choice and allocation on client's business performance
- Statistical analyses of primary and syndicated market research, media
spend and allocation, and business performance data
- Predictive modeling and econometric analysis to support proactive
"what-if" analysis to support marketing and advertising decision-making
- Test, learn and deploy marketing stimuli - creative, messaging, and offers
- and measure results in collaboration with brand planning, creative, media,
and technology teams to build robust marketing and advertising strategies
and in-market programs for clients
- Work efficiently with client data and analytics partners to define,
configure, extract, aggregate, package, synthesize, and share data, results,
and insight with Mullen team members
- Present analytical findings and communicate( both written and verbal)
complex concepts to general marketing and business audiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing or
other quantitative discipline
- 2-4 years of work experience in a professional services environment: management consulting, market research, advertising, or interactive/technology consulting
- Experience with statistical software tools such as SAS, Stata, or SPSS
- Fluent in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and charting. Experience automating routine Excel tasks using macros/VBA preferred.
- Critical thinking- capable of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well as a enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives
- Attention to detail and time management to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines
- Balances desire for quantitative rigor with realities of inconsistent
business data Pluses
- Experience with online display advertising (OLA), specifically performance data extraction tools from DoubleClick, Atlas, Yahoo!, or Eye Blaster
- Familiar with search marketing (SEM and/ or SEO), specifically performance data extraction tools from DoubleClick, Omniture, WebTrends, or Google
- Familiar with Web site analysis, specifically performance data extraction tools from Omniture, WebTrends, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, or others.

Job Description:
Reporting to the SVP Corporate Communications, this role is responsible for managing Endoscopy’s employee communications on a global basis; with a particular focus on strategy engagement and alignment. Ensure consistent flow of information between the Smith & Nephew corporate office, the 4 divisions and Endoscopy employees. Develop and promote divisional key messages and increase awareness among internal audiences. Manage the division’s intranet site as well as any additional internal communications tools as appropriate. Responsible for administering and supporting public relations programs, works with outside PR partners and performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Salary Band: 14

Requirements:
BA/BS Communications or Journalism or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer or business communications. Experience in media relations in health care or a related field preferred.
Must have excellent project management skills to meet multiple project deadlines. Must be creative, imaginative, innovative, and have outstanding writing skills.
Ability to work with multiple electronic mediums such as corporate intranet.
Team player who is able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
