Topics in Modern European Hist

4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: At least two history courses and consent of the department for undergraduates. Enrollment normally open only to juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Provides an intensive study of a specific topic in modern European history varying from year to year. Takes advantage of current issues in historiography and faculty expertise. Topics include the history of obscenity, intellectual and cultural history, Weimar Germany, and 19th century Europe.
