Greek & Roman History

4 sem. hrs. Studies the many manifestations of the genius of Mediterranean civilization in the Greco- Roman era. Examines Greek democracy, theater, and thought; Hellenistic medicine and city life; and Roman law, culture, and imperialism. Concludes with the merger of these many creative strains in early Christianity.
