Horn Book at Simmons
The Boston Globe--Horn Book Awards celebrate some of the best children's literature in three categories: Fiction and Poetry; Non-Fiction; and Picture Books. For the second year, Simmons is hosting a colloquium to bring together librarians, educators and children's literature professionals to examine the Boston Globe--Horn Book Award winners. This day-long event includes talks, panel discussions and small group sessions to explore how books for children and teens interpret the world for young readers as well as new strategies for bringing young people and books together. Come see the display of past and present Horn Book Award winners in the Library!
