Banned Books Week
Celebrate the freedom to read with our Banned Books display! From Absalom, Absalom! to Zora Neale Hurston, classics and authors throughout history have been the object of censorship and banning. For thousands of years, readers have been persecuted as revolutionaries and radicals simply for reading what they chose. Fight back with a simple trip to the Library to check out our books on display. Our display is a small selection of the countless books that have been banned, censored, and challenged over time.
