Make a Gift

The Simmons College Library is grateful for the active support of alumnae/i and friends. Your monetary and in-kind gifts help us meet the needs of today's students, faculty, and other library users. Our collections and services connect the Simmons community to information, inspire discovery, and promote learning.

Monetary Gifts

Your unrestricted, current-use gifts to the Beatley Library Fund enable the director of the library to focus your generosity where it can have the greatest impact. For more information about making a gift, please contact the Office of Advancement. Advancement staff can answer your questions and explain the powerful impact your unrestricted, current-use gifts can have.

If you already have the information you need, you can easily make your gift online now.  Just choose the appropriate online form, look for the "Designation" field, select "Other," and enter "Library."

Major and Planned Gifts

Staff in the Office of Advancement would be happy to discuss major-gift options for the library, including naming opportunities, and planned gifts. Many Simmons donors choose to include the library in their estate or trust plans, and we welcome such thoughtful support. In-kind Gifts

We appreciate your gifts of books, journals, and other library materials that are appropriate for the Library's collection and curricular-support needs. If you are considering an in-kind gift, please consult our Acquisitions Gift Policy or contact Library Director Daphne Harrington.

Gifts to the College Archives

The Simmons College Archives collects materials documenting the history of Simmons, its students, faculty, and alumnae/i. Gifts of personal papers, manuscripts, photographs, or other materials are often valuable contributions to the Archives' collections.   • Please note, after 7:00pm on weekdays and 5:00pm on Saturdays, a current Simmons ID is required for entry to Lefavour Hall. A current Simmons ID is required to access the building at any time on Sundays.
