Buildings and Grounds is responsible for management of all Simmons facilities. This includes general maintenance, alterations and repairs, capital construction, energy management, housekeeping, office moves, landscaping, shipping and receiving, and snow removal on both the main and residence campuses.

Improvements to the College Center and Java City - Summer 2012
The College Center and Java City will undergo renovations this summer. We will be completing some necessary repairs to the floors and replacing carpeting throughout the College Center space. At the same time we will be renovating and relocating the Java City Café. The new location for Java City (click here to see a plan) is aimed at providing more efficient service and an increased variety of products for sale.
The renovations will be starting construction on July 1st and are scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
