- If a course indicates that consent of the instructor is required, you should have the instructor of the course email email@example.com with permission for you to join the class.
- If you are unable to register yourself for a course because it is full - you can ask the course instructor for permission to be in the class. If the professor agrees, they can email firstname.lastname@example.org to have you added to the course. This rule does not apply to the School of Social Work.
The Registrar's Office will register you for the course when that email is received; you do not need to register yourself for the course on AARC.
Check your Simmons email account for confirmation that you have been registered for the course, or log onto AARC and confirm your registration by viewing your schedule.
Please allow 48 hours for consent registrations to be processed.
To expedite consent registrations, please have the instructor include your Simmons ID number and the specific section of the course you wish to be registered.
Note: You can also complete an add/drop form with the instructor's signature, and return the form to the Registrar's Office in C-210 or via fax at 617-521-3144.
