Fall Orientation

Undergraduate Orientation will take place from Sunday, August 30, 2009 through Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Please note that all students regardless of whether or not they live on campus are expected to attend the Orientation events on each day of Orientation. We also encourage you to attend other activities through the first week of classes, including the Student Organization Fair, and the Labor Day outings.

Sunday, August 30, 2009

  • Orientation Check-in (8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
  • First-Year and Transfer Resident student move-in (8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
  • Commuter Student Orientation(11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
  • Opening Address and College Picnic (1:00 p.m.)
  • Meeting with your Orientation Leader(3:00 p.m.)
  • Residence Hall Meetings and Commuter Student Meeting (4:30 p.m.)
  • Evening Activity: Trivia Night

During Orientation, you will have the opportunity to sign up for Labor Day Excursions to explore Boston and get further settled at Simmons.
