An Orientation Leader (OL) is an upperclass student who is here for you to make the transition to Simmons as easy as possible. She can answer your questions about what it means to be a Simmons student, direct you to resources that will help your transition, and help you connect with other students. She will be in touch with you over the summer, and then you will meet her when you come to campus inthe Fall. Incoming transfer students will be matched with an OL who was also transfer student.
We have a fantastic team of Orientation Leaders this year who are all very excited about welcoming you to campus and helping you STEP UP TO YOUR FUTURE!

Advice from your Orientation Leaders
Make connections with your mentors early on. Get to know upperclass women and ask for their advice. Make
the most of all of the resources available to you! - Stephanie Hunt, '12
Make yourself visible the first couple of days. Do homework in the common room, hang out in the hall. It
makes meeting people easier. - Eileen Hurley, '11
Ask questions! There is no such thing as a stupid question. - Abby Howes, '11
