President Helen Drinan

Helen G. Drinan has brought a depth of leadership experience in non-profit and for-profit organizations to the presidency of Simmons College. An alumna of two Simmons graduate school programs, the School of Management and the Graduate School of Library & Information Science and a former chair of the Board of Directors, Helen Drinan has been closely connected to the College for more than three decades. Provost Katie Conboy

Katie Conboy is Provost and Senior Vice President of Simmons College. She brings more than 25 years of academic, administrative, and professional accomplishments to Simmons. Dr. Conboy started her career as Assistant Professor of English at Stonehill College and emerged early as a faculty leader, serving twice as Moderator of the Faculty Assembly. Shortly after her promotion to full Professor, Dr. Conboy was tapped as Acting Vice President and Dean at Stonehill, and she continued in the Chief Academic Officer role for 13 years, becoming Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2001 and Provost in 2008. Senior Vice President Stefano Falconi
Administration and Finance, Treasurer

Stefano Falconi is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Treasurer. Before joining Simmons in July 2008, Falconi was vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Previously, Falconi was vice president for administration and chief financial officer of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he oversaw all administrative and financial functions of the university. Vice President Cheryl Howard
Marketing and Admissions

Cheryl Howard, Vice President of Marketing and Admission, joined Simmons in 2007. For the previous 23 years, Howard served in a number of national and international marketing, brand, and customer relations positions at The Gillette Company and at Digital Equipment Corporation. In her last assignment at Gillette, she was vice president for personal care, a $450-million division of the company. She also has taught marketing, consumer behavior, and advertising courses at the graduate and undergraduate level at colleges in the Boston area. Vice President Marianne Lord
Advancement

Marianne E. Lord was appointed Vice President of Advancement, effective September 2011. A longtime leader in institutional advancement and philanthropy, Lord most recently served as associate dean of Institutional Advancement at Boston College Law School. At BC, she participated in transforming the development program, restructuring the BC Law Alumni Association, and creating BC's first planned giving program. Lord is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Planned Giving Group of New England, the Association of American Law Schools' Institutional Advancement Program Committee, the Friday Forum and Women in Development. Suzanne Murphy
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Simmons Online

Suzie Murphy is Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Simmons Online, appointed in 2010 to ensure success of Strategy 2015 initiatives. Prior to coming to Simmons, she was special assistant to the president at Emmanuel College and was an adjunct faculty member in their Graduate and Professional Programs. Murphy's experience spans multiple industries from financial services, to management consulting, to higher education. Read More »

Dean Sarah Neill
Student Life

Sarah Neill assumed the role of Dean for Student Life in June 2009, having served as the Associate Dean of Student Life for 11 years. As associate dean, she played a leading role in matters pertaining to student health and wellness across the College and has presented at regional and national conferences on related topics. Prior to her tenure at Simmons, Neill served as assistant dean at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and has additional student affairs experience working at Smith College and Lesley and Bentley Universities. Kathy Rogers
Vice President & General Counsel

Kathy Rogers is Vice President and General Counsel at Simmons. She joined Simmons in 2002 as General Counsel and was promoted to Vice President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees in 2007. Previously, she was a partner at the Boston law firm of Yurko & Perry, and served as a business litigator at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, and at Widett, Slater & Goldman. Before joining Simmons, Rogers advised and represented numerous Boston-area colleges and universities in litigation and risk management, particularly in cases involving disability and employment law issues. Vice President Regina Sherwood
Talent and Human Capital Strategy

Regina Sherwood was appointed Vice President of Talent and Human Capital Strategy in April 2012. She has more than 15 years of experience working with organizations to develop effective compensation and human resource programs. Prior to joining Simmons, Sherwood was a Principal Consultant at Mercer, a multinational human capital consulting firm. Her work at Mercer included designing and enhancing reward and talent programs across multiple industries and numerous higher education organizations, including Simmons. Read More »
