Regina Sherwood was appointed Vice President of Talent and Human Capital Strategy in April 2012. She has more than 15 years of experience working with organizations to develop effective compensation and human resource programs. Prior to joining Simmons, Sherwood was a Principal Consultant at Mercer, a multinational human capital consulting firm. Her work at Mercer included designing and enhancing reward and talent programs across multiple industries and numerous higher education organizations, including Simmons. Prior to her work within a consulting firm, Sherwood held positions within human resources and bank analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Sherwood holds a B.A. cum laude from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business. She is a member of WorldatWork, a not-for-profit organization providing knowledge leadership on total rewards issues, and has been a speaker at the Northeast Regional College and University Personnel Association (CUPA) Conferences.
