Individually, President's Council members have specific responsibilities in the schools and administrative units; together, the Council takes a college-wide view of Simmons's challenges and opportunities.
President's Council is made up of approximately fifty key faculty and administrators from across the College: President Drinan's direct reports, their direct reports, the deans, and representatives selected by the Faculty Senate. The Council meets monthly to review progress on Strategy 2015; to improve their understanding of the goals and operations of each business unit; to collaborate on ideas and feedback regarding programs, policies, and procedures; and to take responsibility for Simmons' long-term success.
