The Financial Aid Process for Undergraduates

We know that the financial aid process can be daunting. But we don't want you to lose sight of the most important thing—your future. So we're going to tell you what you need to know about financing your education and why we believe a Simmons education offers you the best return on your investment. And we should know. Simmons has been preparing students for successful careers and meaningful lives—our central mission—for more than 100 years.

Contrary to what you might think, attending a top notch private college like Simmons doesn't have to be as expensive as it first appears. That's because the "sticker price," the amount we publish as the cost for tuition, room and board, and fees, will probably differ from the amount you actually pay.

Undergraduate Financial Aid, Scholarships and Loans

Academic excellence and financial need are used to determine each student's financial-aid package. For undergraduates, academic merit awards range from $5,000 to full-tuition awards, renewable for four years.

You don't need to submit a CSS/PROFILE to apply for aid from Simmons. Just submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for scholarships, loans, grants, and federal work-study. Federal income tax returns will be requested if you are chosen for verification. Please see important notes about applying for aid.
