The OpEd Project's Write to Change the World

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2014

Time: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Location: Linda K. Paresky Conference Center

Contact:
. Simmons Institute for Leadership and Change. 617-521-2480

This highly interactive seminar will challenge you to think more carefully and more expansively about your knowledge and experience, and why it matters. You will emerge with a powerful argument for an idea or cause you believe in, and a network of high-level mentors. This seminar is about empowering you to find your voice and make a case for the ideas and causes you believe in—whether in print, online, on TV, before your board of directors, to potential funders or investors, or on the steps of Congress. All participants will have one year of ongoing access to a national network of high-level Mentor-Editors, for individual feedback on their op-ed drafts throughout the year.

Note: At The OpEd Project, op-ed is defined expansively. Op-ed offers a metaphor for thought leadership, a front door into the marketplace of ideas and public conversation (and thus a strategy for change), and a metric for measuring concrete results through your results.in partnership with:
