Interim Dean Maureen Sullivan and Secretary of State Clinton Sign "Declaration of Learning"

GSLIS Interim Dean and ALA President Maureen Sullivan was at the Department of State Headquarters on January 30, 2013 to sign the "Declaration of Learning." The statement, signed by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as well as twelve government agencies and organizations, formally announces the signees as members of the Inter-Agency Collaboration on Learning. Participants are institutions committed to using historical artifacts in their collections and creating digital learning tools for students and educators. The declaration was signed by, among others, Susan Hildreth, director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services and alumnus David Ferriero '74LS, archivist of the United States.
