Simmons GSLIS Wins Association for Information Science and Technology Student Chapter of the Year Award

Simmons GSLIS was presented with the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Student Chapter of the Year award at the Association's Annual Meeting in Montreal, Canada, during the first week of November, co-winning the award with the University of Denver's student chapter. The award recognizes student chapters for their outstanding contributions to ASIS&T and the advancement of information science. To acknowledge their accomplishments, faculty advisor Linnea Johnson, co-chair Anne Pepitone, co-chair Julia Hayton, and treasurer Jennifer Prentice received a certificate on behalf of the student chapter. Each member of the ASIS&T student chapter also received a certificate.
