GSLIS student and Library Assistant Mirna Turcios, Professor Naresh Agarwal and LIS Librarian Linda Watkins Publish Study

Mirna Turcios worked with Prof. Agarwal, initially as part of the research proposal class assignment and then as an Independent Study.

Ironically, Watkins in her presentation heightened the project's urgency by stating she couldn't retire until the study had been done. Prophetically, her retirement announcement was made just when the article had been accepted for publication.
