Judith Cullinane, RN,MSN,CCRN


Judith Cullinane joined the SNHS faculty in 2012 in the Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program. Prior to joining the faculty full time, she served as clinical adjunct faculty. Mrs. Cullinane has over 20 years of experience within the specialties of neonatal and pediatric care, nursing leadership, professional development and nursing education. She coordinates workshops and study groups for students within the Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program in the areas of medical-surgical, pediatric, obstetrical and clinical decision making. In addition, she mentors, coaches, guides and tutors students within this program to insure success.

She served as president for Sigma Theta Tau, Honor Society of Nursing, Theta at Large Chapter at Simmons College from 2011-2013 and is the current president of the Massachusetts Chapter, National Association of Hispanic Nurses. She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders and serves as a committee member on the Massachusetts Action Coalition Campaign for the Future of Nursing, assisting in the development of competencies that will serve the settings of academia and practice.

Judith has published as a co-author of research with Dr. Susan Duty in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics; was a co-author of an opinion article in the Maternal Child Journal; noted as a specialist advisor in the development of a Medikidz patient education comic book on burns in London, UK; and was a co-author of a whitepaper for the development of the quality indicator for fluid resuscitation in burn victims within the American Burn Association. She is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. in Health Professions Education program at Simmons College.
