Centers & Initiatives
The School of Management launched its first center, the Center for Gender in Organizations (CGO), in 1998 with a $1.1 million grant from the Ford Foundation. CGO was established as a center dedicated to innovative scholarship and practice on advancing gender equity in work organizations worldwide. The Center for Gender in Organizations flourishes today with rigorous consulting, research, and convening efforts.
Today, the SOM encompasses not only CGO, but also additional initiatives in Entrepreneurship and Women in Leadership. Collectively, these centers and initiatives support the academic rigor of our MBA, Undergraduate and Executive Education programs, and underscore the School's position as a center of excellence in women, leadership, and management.
