By Public Transportation

The SOM is easily accessible from the green line "T". Take the B, C, or D green line train to the Hynes Convention Center stop. Take right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Walk one block, turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. The SOM is one block down on your right.

Another option is to take the B, C, or D green line train to the Kenmore Square stop. Exit right onto Commonwealth Avenue. The SOM is two blocks away on your left.

By Car

From the WEST
Follow Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) east to Boston. Merge left, take Brighton/Cambridge exit — exit 18. After tolls, move into right lane, go through one set of lights and turn right immediately onto Storrow Drive eastbound. Take Kenmore Square exit. Turn left at 2nd set of lights onto Commonwealth Avenue. Continue about two blocks and turn left onto Hereford Street. Take immediate left back onto Commonwealth Avenue. The SOM is within two blocks on your right.

From the SOUTH
Take I-93 north to Boston. Follow Route 3 north (Southeast Expressway) to Storrow Drive westbound, and follow directions below from Storrow Drive westbound.

From the NORTH
Take I-93 south to Boston. Keep right as you cross the bridge, and take Storrow Drive exit westbound. From Storrow Drive westbound, merge left to Copley Square exit. Turn right on Beacon Street, then left onto Clarendon Street. Cross Marlborough Street, and turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue. The SOM is within seven blocks on your right.

From LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Take Route 1A south through Sumner Tunnel. Take I-93 north. Take exit 4 to Storrow Drive westbound and follow directions above for Storrow Drive westbound.

Parking

Although metered parking is available on Commonwealth Avenue and surrounding streets, visitors to the SOM are encouraged to park at the following parking garages:
