Undergraduate Program

The Simmons School of Management undergraduate entrepreneurship program creates learning opportunities for women interested in entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, whatever their college major. Our minor in entrepreneurship, including coursework in new venture creation, marketing and finance, complements any course of college study. We offer business and non-business degree students practical experience leading to confidence and capabilities in entrepreneurship through training in the classroom and activities with the regional business community.

If you are looking to:

  • Build your own business or socially minded venture
  • Understand the business side of a career, for example as a physical therapist, arts administrator, or nurse
  • Contribute to a family owned business
  • Work in a fast growth start-up

The Simmons Undergraduate Entrepreneurship program will partner with you as you determine and build your entrepreneurial career.

We integrate the best ideas, knowledge and practice from the field of entrepreneurship to prepare you for success. Our students have the opportunity to gain critical competencies, grow their confidence, and build a network of advisors.

Our recent courses included student representation from the following majors: management, communications, physical therapy, art therapy, history, retail management, graphic arts, chemistry, and English literature, for example.
