Charles Daniels, M.S.W., LCSW, CAMS-1, CA

Charles C. Daniels, Jr. received his M.S.W. from the Simmons College School of Social Work. As the founder/ CEO of Fathers' Uplift, Inc. Mr. Daniels, Jr. counsels men (fathers and father figures) who are working to overcome substance abuse, obtain permanent housing, or re-enter society after prison. Many of the men he works with face a combination of these challenges. Mr. Daniels utilizes his pain from growing up without a father to make a difference. His life's mission is to assist fathers in overcoming the barriers that prevent them from remaining engaged in their children's lives. He also works with fathers as a therapist at the Boston Public Health Commission in Boston, Massachusetts. He recently developed a curriculum for fathers/ father figures dealing with substance related addictions in Boston, Massachusetts. The name of the support group where the curriculum is used is called Uplifting Fathers in Recovery.
