Suzanne Hecker, M.S.W., LICSW

Suzanne Hecker received her MSW from the Simmons College School of Social Work in 2006. Upon graduation, Ms. Hecker pursued her interest and passion for community-based work through The Home For Little Wanderers' Safe at Home program. She continues to work for Safe at Home, providing services through the state's CBHI wrap-around model as a Clinical Coordinator for an ever-growing In-Home Therapy team. She specializes in home-based work with multi-stressed families and trauma/crisis intervention. She supports and helped develop her program's Intern Enrichment program and serves on her agency's Human Rights Committee and Clinical Forum. She also volunteers clinical supervision for social workers employed at AFC Mentoring. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys gardening and looks for opportunities to cultivate connection between horticulture and social work.
