Kenna Liatsos is a clinical social worker who has worked with young children and families for 25 years. She has worked clinically and administratively with public school children in a community known for its racial, cultural and ethnic diversity. Her private practice has been dedicated to the needs of children with life threatening illnesses and their families. In relation to this work, Dr. Liatsos became a consulting member of a pediatric hospice team and conducted research exploring the immediate and long-term effects of early childhood sibling loss. Dr. Liatsos received her M.S.W. from Boston College and her Ph.D. from the Simmons SSW. In addition to her work at Simmons, she also teaches part time at Bridgewater State College.
