Career Events

At Simmons we offer services to help our students put their degrees to use and find fulfilling jobs in the field of social work. Throughout the year we offer Career Panels & Networking Receptions and Career Fairs. Below is a current list of events planned for Winter/Spring 2013. This listing, along with more information can be found in our Career Connections 2013-2014 Flyer

Suzanne Sankar, Assistant Dean, presents an overview on strategies for finding your first job in clinical social work, including using the resources available to you as a Simmons SSW student, online resources, and tips about the local job market.

Public Loan Forgiveness Workshop

This workshop presented by Leslie Czwakiel, Financial Aid Officer in the Office of Student Financial Services, will explain the Public Loan Forgiveness for individuals working in non-profits. NASW Social Work Licensing Test Prep Course
