For MSW Students

Summer Registration is the week of March 19th

During the Week of March 19-20th you will begin the process of registering for summer term classes. Youcan find your personal registration time on AARC under "my registration start and end time".

When planning your summer classes, please be aware of the following.
Summer
• All classes meet 3 hours for 9 weeks
• We have one summer term beginning May 7th with end dates depending on the day the classmeets.
• The last day of summer classes is Monday, July 15th. Attendance for Summer ClassesSummer term class hours are longer than the standard Fall/Spring SSW classes (3 hours). Therefore, missing more than one class will put you at risk for not receiving credit for the course or for failing the course.

Please plan your schedule carefully. If you are already planning to be out of town for a vacation or wedding on a class day, I encourage you to seriously consider the implications for your summer studies. You should only register for courses that you plan to fully attend.

The Registration and course information: The SSW website http://www.simmons.edu/ssw/for/msw/index.php has summer registration materials posted under the Registration & Graduation tab. Several useful documents including sample course schedules, summer class schedules, course descriptions, the prerequisite chart, Frequently Asked Questions (including what courses meet the clinical elective and social actions requirements) are listed.

Also please note that faculty teaching assignments are subject to change. All changes are reflected on AARC as soon as possible. I hope this information is helpful to you in planning your course schedule. If you have questions, please contact the Academic Services Center (ASK) advisors on the 3rd floor in P 304 orat askssw@simmons.edu.
