Psychology of Aging
4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: PSYC 101. Focuses on later life and how social forces influence people's experiences with aging. Looks at myths and stereotypes about the aging process, analyzes the mental and physical challenges we face as we age, assessing the continuities and discontinuities in family relationships, and discussing the implications of a growing aging population.
