IEP Strat for Deve, Int & Imp
2 sem. hrs. Prereq. SPND 444. Offers an examination of the legal requirements as well as the process for the development, implementation and interpretation of the Individualized Education Program (IEP). The IEP forms the basis for the provision of specially designed instruction to students with special needs who are eligible for special education under the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Analysis of IEP meeting procedures and protocols are also integral to this course.
