Health Assessment
This course develops the students skills in the collection of a systematic health history and performance of a physical examination of the adult and pediatric client. Emphasis is on the attainment of motor and perceptual skills at the level of the beginning nurse practitioner. The student also learns how to record findings according to the Problem-Oriented Record System. Listed as NURS 492 for Direct Entry students. (4 credits)
