description
Simmons College students developed advertising campaigns designed to recruit women and minorities for the naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The project started in September 2006 and ended in May 2007. Our student teams collaborated with the NCIS Recruitment Chief, Special Agent Cheryl Marsh, who provided our students with information, guidance, and feedback. Additionally, Special Agents Daniel Hurley and Heather Ryan from the NCIS Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine office visited the advertising classes and discussed the NCIS experience.

Teams professionally developed full advertising campaign planbooks for NCIS including magazine ads, 60 second produced radio spots, and television storyboards, with some animatics. The teams competed for the Simmons College Communications Department Copy and Layout Award scheduled for May 3rd.
