Saori Chiba teaches Intermediate Microeconomics, and Business Competition and Antitrust Policy. She also teaches Economic Policy Analysis for the Masters in Public Policy Program. She is completing her Ph.D. in Economics at Boston University. Her fields of interest are Microeconomic Theory, Managerial Economics and Behavioral Economics. Her research includes the application of microeconomics theory to political economy and industrial organization. She analyzes communication structures between agents who have conflicting interests, and applies this analysis to interesting issues in organizations such as disclosure and delegation. She also has ten years of experience working as a manager in the banking industry in Japan. As a member of Corporate Finance Team, she was in charge of corporate loans to 200 companies. Also, she oversaw 30 projects as a core member of Non-Performing Loan Liquidation Team.
