Writing Seminar
2 sem. hrs. This two-credit writing course introduces first-year students to writing at the college level. The course takes a general, non-disciplinary approach to process writing where students explore voice, content, purpose, and style while meeting the needs of their audience. Starting with personal narrative and communications, students develop critical distance from experiences in order to situate themselves in the larger context of the community within and outside of Simmons.
